  2. your cheapest solution is to find a parts car and get most of your parts for that car.

  3. Choose a particular part and call several junk yards for prices .

The price range for seats in my area range from $ 50.00 to over $300.00 guess where i got my seats .

  5. This depends on the wrecking yards, these people are in the business to sell commonly wanted parts, which now days include cars built in the 90’s and 2000. If the yard has a 77-83 buick/Ols you should have your fair share of pickens for the inside. Also if you find one that’s pretty much in tacked I would ask them how much for the whole car and just purchase the whole car as a donor car. That way you have what you need and you’re not having to make 500 trips to the yard to get parts. Then when you’re done, call up a scraper to pick up the car or donate it to Kiddey Kars or some place like that. I wouldn’t pay more then 1000 bucks for it. as far as price, most wrecking yards are pretty cool about haggling as long as your not trying to rip them off, also if you build up a relationship with a guy they often times cut you really good deals and will hang on to stuff that they know you need. Good luck and happy hunting.

  6. You could go on-line to see if there is a car club site for your vintage car. This sites usually have some sort of forum and you could ask about parts there. They would probably be able to steer you to the best and cheapest place to purchase your parts.
