restoring cars
iluvjohnjan2006 asked:

I’m not your typical wife.
I love watching football and any other sports games with my husband.
I love doing things with him, such as fixing the car, restoring his 1981 camaro.
No, I’m not ***.
I love doing girly things too such as, I love to shop and spend money.
So…is it normal to want game tickets as an anniversary present.

Dave

  3. A preference in gifts is normal. But wait and see what he comes up with for your birthday – it may be something even more meaningful and loving than Eagle concert tickets. And perhaps consider giving yourself [and him] Eagle concert tickets, if they mean that much to you. YOU buy them, and make a romantic evening of it for you both.

  4. I’m single (still looking for the right guy) but I’m a girl who likes football too. And I’ve helped my brother work on his 1968 Chevelle. I’m with you – I have a very girly side (I love Jane Austen novels and romantic comedies), but I do still like things that are considered guy activities – football, hockey, etc.

I think it’s cool that you want to get your husband the football tickets. Personally I think anything you both like to do helps bring you together more. So even a weekend of watching football together can be romantic because you shared it (even more if the Eagles win!) Go for the tickets – if he’s a smart guy he’ll realize how awesome it is that his wife likes football (not the sterotypical wife who nags at her husband for not paying attention to her during the game).

    Hope this helps!

  5. Yes, it is. And it’s unique to you, it’s an individual love that you have and that you share with him. That’s exactly what romance is all about. It’s a connection that you share with each other that just makes your relationship that much stronger. That’s like an ideal anniversary date, to go to the game and be fans together and enjoy everything about being alive, being together, and being happy. I hope your tickets are on the 50 yard line.
