How is this urgent? It’s not like it’s an emergency rebuild.
If you’re fully restoring the entire car, say hello to….easily $30,000. Depending on the level of restoration, and how detailed you get with it, it can be much higher.
Otherwise, why bother restoring the original engine? Get a crate engine for a few thousand, and have basically a 0 miles engine.

Yeah how is this urgent. Plan on about 30 to 40 grand . and then double it for all the things you didn’t plan on and price increases.

last one i restored cost me about 34 thousand and that was not for a shelby clone. $5800 ? my engine compartment cost more than that.

you better have at least $25,000 in the bank to cover expenses to do the job and thats not doing it to perfection.
