i have a 92 integra?
21st April 2008
Eric C asked:
with 220,000 miles on it. i absolutely love my car! it outlast 4 jobs and one marriage!
and still runs like a champ!
i am considering a complete restoration, i don’t want to “soup it up”, just want to restore its old glory, any idea ball park $$$ to do that? and where is the specialty for such project? i live in L.A.
thanks guys! for all the great suggestions!
additionally, the uphostery – seat surface, can i get those done as well? or i need to replace it with new seats?
Last, is there a place specialized in such job? if i bring the car in, i tell them what i want to do, they will give me an estimation and take care of everything?
I live in Los Angeles, any reccomendations?

i would get rid of it and maybe buy a 01 LS or if you want a little more power get a gsr. Then you won’t have to do so much work, and it will still have the same feel that you love so much.

The prices will vary on different parts.I would definately check out ebaymotors.com they have almost every stock part that you would need brand new.And you will more than likely get a great price on the parts to.Just go check that out and dont listen to that guy about buying a new car.I wouldnt dare sell my 93 civic hatchback. And it has 203,000 miles on it.No other car could compare to it in my eyes.Just check it out and happy bidding.

AcuraOEMparts.com has just about everything for your integra, and also check out if you want a new motor. I know the love you have for your integra I ALSO have a 92 integra and it has 213,000 miles and it still runs awesome also.. i love this car!
Also pretty funny it outlasted 4 jobs and 1 marriage lol.

$5.000 if you want it showroom…. including rebuilding tha engine and trans with labor included.
interior, paint > i hope you don’t have major dents or if any at all, and at last you got a brand new 92 integra
ps if your really thinking of doing it, when it comes to the engine think of light mods like vtec if yours is no vetec it will rise the value more and make it preform better.

Well depends on how restored you want, I suggest instead of rebulding you motor sell it and buy a JDM one something on the lines of a XSI/GSR motor from you model hmotorsonline.com will get it done and cost under $2000, next suspension brakes, new shocks $300, springs $200, bushing, other items $400-500, new pads, rotors, rebuilt calipers $500-700, exhaust cat back $500, power windows motors, wipers all new if need and locks $500-600, steering rack if need and P/S $500-600, paint and interor idk $2000-3000. Having a brand new car for under $7000 priceless and something you love.
