If the smell is sticking to you, then you might want to bath.

Okay try some febreeze. Do the 7 day challenge where you spray febreeze throughout your house for 7 days as a normal habit. Then over time it may become a habit for you and in time giving your house a better smell.

ISN’T THAT WEIRD … how carb and brake clean linger so bad ? the only thing I know is to air out, it takes a long time especially if mineral spirits are tracked in. I had to repaint in order to sell my house because of this. good luck

Try wiping down your walls with a rag wet with vanilla extract. It will take a LOT of extract, but it is still cheaper than repainting or hiring a professional.

the answer you seek is Coffee. go buy a pound or so, depending on the size of the room, of generic ground coffee, (vacuum packed is best) spread it freely about the area of offensive smell wait 20- 30 min and vacuum up the grounds, the stronger the odor, the longer you leave the coffee out.
