Guides/books on car restoration?
28th December 2007
anonymouse876 asked:
Hey all, I was wondering if anyone knew of any guides on the internet or books on the subject of restoring vehicles. I have a ‘79 Mustang in storage, it’s been that way for quite some time, and is overall in pretty rough shape; yet I have plans to get it back into working condition. Generally, every inch of that car will need work. So, on to my question: can anyone either link or recommend webpages or books with info on different aspects of restoration and repair? Sorry for being so broad.

I recommend Haynes repair manuals. If your local parts store doesn’t have one in stock they could usually get one next day. I buy mine at Auto Zone soft cover usually around $16.
