I all ready know how to make some headlights looking like new, and some look good, but not as good as new, but in fair Condition and other headlights look Crystal clear. I just want some Headlight Restoration Tips to make my job a little easier.

What is the appraised value of a 1964-1/2 D Model convertible Mustang? Older restoration, beautiful car?

289 four barrel, four speed transmission. Air conditioned. Indy Pace car, made in July 1964. Beautiful black paint job, black top, white interior. My car sleeps in the garage, and I only take it out on cruise nights. I’m wondering what my baby is worth.
Well my car was not an actual Indy Pace care, but it is the D model that they used.

restore or buy new?

asked this question and got mixed reviews last time so i will ask it again. I will be graduating from college in december of 08 and already have a job lined up after school, i will be a cpa. My question is do i restore my 1994 300zx convertable, which is one of about 2000 left or buy a new 350z. I would spend about 25-30 thousand on the restoration. I plan on doing a simple ground effects package, nothing gotti. Rebuilding the motor with new twin turbo system wanting about 375 to the wheels. Add new interior, seats dash, plastic panels, carpet. I want to also add a new top. After that u want to upgrade transmission add a few performance parts to the amount of 2k and then new rims and tires, nothing gotti though. I want a tuner look, but with class, so i want to just make subtle changes to the body. Then to top it off do about a 6-7 k paint job. So so i buy a 30k very common car and add twin turbo or redo a rare care 100%. Either way i will have a cool car.

I was going to buy another Rx-7 around 100,000 miles on it and place and replace the engine. The car’s clutch works fine, the suspension is great, no accidents, just high miles. My question is I guess, If I do this will the car be just as good as new or will I constantly have to restore everything.

I’m contemplating on whether or not to buy myself a really good restored 1990’s Classic Mini Cooper with a 1275cc engine, automatic transmission and air-conditioning. The shop owner/restorer says he fixed it for everyday use. However, is this car reliable enough to drive everyday to work and to withstand some traffic situations without overheating? Is it easy to fix if it ever breaks down, and are the parts easy to find and not that expensive? Thanks in advance!

Want to restore antique car?

colombian_king954 asked:
I started working at a shop where the owner restores old cars but i work as a painter but there is this one early 1960s pontiac GTO convertible that is an absolute mess, theres no paint, no chairs, no radio, no roof, no hood, im not even sure if it runs, the floor is old and rusted and it has holes in it that you can see the concrete. Now the owners passion is restoring old cars, but he is using is as storage, I want to buy it, restore it and use it as my own, so how much should I offer him, do they still make parts for it? How much money do you think I would have to sink into it?
well 500$ is a little reasonable cause im 16 i have 2 jobs and theyre to help my parents out. But your right, i might just try to search one in better condition
