Needs pretty much everything
Rust is minimal. Car is in fair condition; however it has a straight 6 and want a 351w, c6 trans, 9″ diff. Is 15k -20k a fair ballpark figure?

How do I get my brother”s car on Overhaulin tv show?
18th January 2008
Want to contact Overhaulin to get my brother”s 1969 Nova restored (road worthy would be more accurate!) It was his first car, he sold it but managed to buy it back about a year later and has always wanted to restore it. He is a hard-working young man and a county deputy. Does anyone know if Overhaulin has a web page and if so what the official address for it is? Or any contact info for the show?

Where can I find NOS or reproduction sheet metal for a 1972 Porsche 914?
16th January 2008
Doing a ground up restoration…it is sort of a basket case but still a nice car to rebuild. I want quality panels and not some of this cheap junk some places are trying to sell.

Should I strip 68 Camaro down to bare metal?
14th January 2008
My wife’s 68 Camaro is my first ever restoration. It has significant rust requiring replacement of quarter panels and brand new sheet metal for entire front end. I have replaced the front end already. For the rest of the car that is not getting new metal, it has about three layers of paint, which has fish-eyed pretty bad. I want to strip it down to bare metal, removing old filler and rust, using new high quality filler and primer on top of bare metal. Wife does not want me to do that. She wants me to sand, primer on top of existing paint and apply new paint. For the experienced autobody guys, please tell me if this is ok. Or if it will cause problems later with the new paint.
Front of car is not the issue. It is all brand new Goodmark fenders, hood and core support. I am only talking about the rest of the car, the uni-body, i.e, roof, sail panles, tail end, trunk area, etc.

What is a good Muscle car to get for a project??
I’m only 17 years old, but i know my fair share about cars and engines. And I want to be an Automotive mechanic, and I’d like to get the knowledge i need for my carreer a little earlier.
And me and a friend can’t decide what would be the best one.
And also, what would be a good muscle car that’s easy to work on, and doesn’t need expensive restoration parts. And what’s the best crate motor to drop in it?
Here’s a list of what we were considering. First being the most considered…..
1) 1969 – 72′ Nova
2) 1968 – 70′ Camaro
3) 1967 Firebird
4) 1970 Chevelle or Chevelle Malibu
Please help us.
Thank you very much

What Television Show’s can I submit a classic car too for restoration?
12th January 2008
My Father bought a 1970 Land Rover in Africa Brand new, it has fallen into a sad state of repair. I would like to have it restored and cannot afford it. Im looking for a restoration tv program that will take submissions…kind of like Pimp My ride…but more restoration based.
Correction: It is a RANGE Rover, Not a Land Rover.
