I’m a high school student trying to get a survey together for my high school business class and I would like to ask how we can give you better service and quality.
1. What is your average income?
A. Between $10,000 and $20,000
B. Between $21,000 and $30,000
C. Between $80,000 and $150,000
D. Over $1,000,000
2. What can we do to be different from other shops you’ve been to?
3. What is your age?
4. What can we do to provide you with the best customer service?
5. What are the names of other places you’ve been to?

If restoring antique automobiles is art, then what makes them different then everyday cars or buildings?
16th October 2007
I was asked this questions and pretty much am stumped because this can be rebuttled back easily, anyone else have any ideas?? I was told the reasons they can both be seen as art is because they both are someones creations and they both in one way or another are a form of expression. Please help me out on this one
Thanks

Okay, I’m kind of new at this, so don’t say it’s a stupid question please.
I plan on buying a ‘68 Chevelle SS as a restoration project. I’ve always wanted the car, but I don’t really like not having power steering. I was just wondering if there’s a way to add power steering to a vehicle that didn’t have it originally.
If so, please explain to me how.
Thanks.

How to restore the pealed paint from car hood?
13th October 2007
Hello people,
I own a used Mazda Protege and it has a sand color. I just noticed couple of days back that the paint is pealing off by itself from the front hood of my car. I am a student and cannot afford a heavy repair. Is there a way to repaint that region without making it look patchy? Also what would be the best thing to protect it from further pealing? Any sort of suggestion is highly appreciated! Thanks a lot.

Does anybody know what types of 2-way radios were used by the Illinois State Police in their squad cars back in the late 1950s, say ‘57 to ‘59? I know they were low-band VHF units, but I’m looking for the make and (if possible) the model.
I know in the 30s/40s they used GE or RCA, but by the 60s had pretty much standardized on Motorola. But the 50s eludes me.
Reason for asking: Restoring a classic ‘57 Ford to its glory days in the I.S.P., and want to install a proper, period-appropriate radio (control head at least) as part of the restoration. Gotta make it look “right,” y’know?
If you have a source for this or other I.S.P. historical information that would help with this project, that would be great!
Thanks!

I took my 69 Mustang to a well known restoration specialist around town here in PA who does work out of his own garage, told him I wanted to put $7-10k into it just to get it running and driving again. Well, he basically proceeds to tear the car apart like if you were doing a complete restoration, totally ignored my request to keep the bill below $10k, and has been hitting me with bill afer bill to do all this work I didn’t ask for. He says it needed it and since the car was apart anyway. I ended up having to take out a damn loan, and now that money is running short, I can’t get more, and he isn’t close to being done! I keep telling him to put it back together, I don’t have money for all this, and he keeps saying he’s getting there and will soon, but it doesn’t happen! If I run out of money, can he keep my car? What are my options here and what can he legally do against me if I run out of money? Any other opinions on this situation? Thanks!

What is this car worth?
10th October 2007
I found a junk 56 corvette, body is in tact but needs work, no engine or trans, no interior, glass is good. Basically the car is a rolling chasis that needs total restoration. The guy is asking $35,000. It seems kinda steep, what are these worth? This is not a fulie or anything special, just a reg 56 vette
