I have a friend who has a 1979 Camaro Berlinetta. He has been looking all over for a new front nose piece for it because his was broken, but hes had no luck. Does anyone know where you can find these or any other restoration parts for these cars?

Restore will not work and Defrag will not work. And sometimes as I am surfing the web, instead of getting what I am looking for I get a Car for sail add or the Yellow sail.
I am runing AVG 0.8 Virus scan and Spybot.I can’t get AVG to update and Spy bot says I have one spywere it can not remove.

My 1990 Dodge Daytona needs engine work, the interior’s headliner is coming down, and the lock mechanism in the driver side door is faulty. To fix it up I’m guessing is going to take at least $2,000, probably more. That’s way more than the value of the car right now. I love the car, would love to see it fixed up, would **** to come to a day where I regretted giving it up.

I know nothing of car restoration and a car’s value over time. It’s hard to imagine the car as one day being a classic, but I could be wrong. Is it worth it?

I have a 2006 Honda Civic EX and I’m toying with the idea of trading up for something a bit more powerful, but I’m concerned because I was in a front end accident (one airbag deployed). The car is completely restored and you’d never know it had crashed, but I am an ethical person and would disclose the accident, and want to know if it’s still worth anything. My friend that works at a Honda dealership said my exact car is worth about $18,000, but that doesn’t consider the accident. Any thoughts?

i don’t mean right away but i want to make it my own personal project. I have an idea of what i want. Where would i get the beat up version on the car (i want to actually put effort into making the car look real nice and actually running btw). I will probably work with it all through college and past it etc of course other costs will come first but my college tuition is relatively cheap and i will be living at home (i have one of those rooms that is like a mini house.. w/e i don’t have to pay living costs so it works).

Anyways it will give me something to do (something that i really really want to do) and i just want to feel like I put alot of hard work into something and getting the rewards.

So.. where would i start ? I have about 5-6 years because you know i want to enjoy it while i’m in my early 20’s (right now i’m 17). Give me estimated costs and all that please thanks.

I am very ashamed of myself. I am a pre-law student and it seems that I have inaccurate accounts of meiji restoration and so on. I was having a conversation with a history major at the car wash yesterday and he said that the reason why Japan expanded further from its jurisdiction (ie korea, taiwan, philippines) was because it wanted to liberate these nations from western colonizers? I understand that Japan had issues with foreign trading before and somehow they (Japan) used as an “excuse” that it wanted to save the rest of Asia from the Americans. Is this correct? And no this is not hw.. -___-

I am looking for a new project. I want to restore a car or truck. What would be easier to restore. Car or truck? Which one would be cheaper? Which one could i get parts for? I have always been a truck man so i was thinking a truck. I have worked on many of trucks but i would like to try a car. What year and or style would be a good starter?

We’re working on a 1949 4-door Mercury. I want to find a restoration/custom manual. I found a couple of archived Hot Rod Magazine articles. I just want something more complete to use as a reference.

We are definitly going to chop, channel and shave. Not sure how much yet. I like things subtle, my husband wants to go crazy. We might have to build 2, a His and Hers.

We hit the car swap meets and hot rod shows. Thanks to all you guys for sharing your tips and experience.
