Porsche specialist or european technician /vintage restorer?
20th June 2007
John R asked:
I have a couple of interviews for an apprenticeship coming up and I was wondering which would be better to take up. On one hand there’s a independent porsche shop that deals maintenance/upgrades with old and new porsches and on the other hand there’s this independent european specialist shop that deals with reparing all types old euro cars but mainly specializing in english cars as well as doing frame work/body work and full mechanical restoration. Which career direction would be better to take for my own future’s sake? Your answers will greatly be appreciated!

Most valuable muscle car when restored?
11th June 2007
Robbie asked:
I was wondering what is the most, or one of the most valuable cars when fully restored?.. but one you can still find a frame and parts for somewhat easy.

Have almost finished restoration and can’t find this info in any of the shop manuals. I guess it is a common knowledge thing amongst British sports car owners

I have a 1968 Cadillac Coupe DeVille and I have agreed to sell it to a co-worker at my new Job, at an Automotive Parts Company. Hes going to buy it and knows the condition, basically hes going to restore the entire car. It runs great and has no problems with anything on the car but it does have trouble starting if you leave it sit for a few days. If I sell this car to him, and for some reason he runs into problems, can he come after me and try and get his money back, or sue me???
