Automotive/car body rotisserie rental?
11th February 2007
Paul asked:
I’ve been looking to rent an auto rotisserie for a restoration project for quite a while. I’ve found numerous places to buy them, but after the project I’ll probably not use it again for several years, so I’d prefer not to have to store it, or plunk down the $700-$1500 purchase price for a one-time use.

Most local equipment rental places have been no help, they don’t seem to stock them. Are there any equipment rental businesses (either large chains or smaller places local to the Chicagoland area) that rent auto rotisseries? Thanks!

Will a 1986 iroc be worth a lot in another 20 or 30 years?
9th February 2007
Dennis R asked:
After waiting for over a year, my mechanic has finally replaced the motor and transmission in my 1986 iroc. I have a 305 high output TPI with a 700r4 transmission, Both rebuilt. I took all the decals to give it a clean look. I am in the process of getting the car back. It has passed its final emissions and inspection and the next time around it will qualify for antique tags. I had this car for 3 years now and want to keep it as a weekend cruiser and I am planning on restoring it to a showroom condition. How much would you estimate the cars worth in another 20-30 years considering it will in flawless condition??? I will be taking my time with the restoration without cutting corners.

New Paint job?
7th February 2007
Jose S asked:
I wanted to get a new paint job on my 94 honda prelude si but i dont have an estimate of how much it will cost. The old paint is losing its clear coat and is chipping from the moonroof, bumper, rear spoiler. Plus the car has exchange paint with others before i bought it. The original color is black, How much does it cost to have it repainted that color, are there any other restoration alternatives
