Car restoration ideas?
23rd August 2008
DK asked:
Hi, basically im in high school and me and two of my friends are gonna buy a car to fix up/restore. Obviously we dont have a lot of money, so we are looking for something that is easy to do, easy to find parts for, and cheap. Original factory parts on the car make no difference to us. Any help is much appreciated.

The 80s models and parts are currently pretty sweet you want to go the strict restoration route.
The 80s models and race around little bit older camaeros are currently pretty cheap the strict restoration route.

You can’t do much better that either a 2nd gen camaro, or a 79-93 mustang (called fox body).
Cheap parts, all over the place!!!!!
