All the name brands will do the job. Read their labels to see if this is the one you wish to purchase. If in doubt, check the vehicles on display at the car shows and ask their owners. I use the ICE car care system made by Turtle Wax,

Use meguiars. First the fine scratch remover, then the Number 26 Carnuba

The product choice depends on how much restoring is needed or possible. I haven’t found any products in auto stores that do what they claim. None of them will give a mirror like finish unless the finish is mirror like. For best results, wash the car, then use a machine buffer with a foam pad and a mild polish. Then wash the car again and wax.

I recommend doing a complete detail. First start off with the 2 bucket method w/ grit guard for washing the car. This will prevent further swirls and scratches into the clear coat. After drying, clay the entire vehicle, including the glass. Make sure you use enough lube and not excessive pressure when claying. This step is crucial because it removes any embedded contaminates from the paint. After wards, depending on the severity of the swirls, polish. If it is really severe, I would resort to wet sanding then following through with a rotary using a wool pad w/ Menzerna Power Gloss (don’t let the name deceive you, it is a compound). Then follow through with a orange or white pad, again depending on paint’s condition, w/ either Menzerna SIP or PO106FA, depending on left over marring. If your paint isnt too bad, use a yellow foam pad w/ Menzerna SIP then follow through with a orange or white pad w/ Menzerna PO106FA~This method can be done with a random orbital. After removing all imperfections from the paint use an All-In-One from Klasse; I usually do 2 layers. Then follow through with Chemical Guy’s Jetseal sealant. I do 2 layers but wait 12hrs between each layer~time for cure. Finally use a wax of preference. I opt to use Swissvax Saphir or Divine (depending on the job and request) on my clients car but have also used Chemical Guy’s 50/50 and found it great. Hope that helped, any questions during the process of step, feel free to contact me.
