Hi, does any one know if there are any websites or people out there who are car enthusiasts who like to just restore old cars for free?
I know that there are people out there who do it, One of my dads best friends used to do it all the time, but he then died. It is a very rare Vauxhall Magnum 2300 coupe.
ohh and in north london
Thank you richard, i think my dad is part of that already, and droop soop club and a few others, he has a mk2 cavalier cd, totally brilliant car uses it for everything and still puts it on show at billing

Hi Terence, just to let you know that there are one or two of us left, I have exactly the same as you (1974 Auto.) and live in NW Kent.
I have found the Viva owners club very helpful, both from a practical point of view (i.e. somebody’s already done the job you need to do, and knows the pitfalls) and also for getting hold of rare spare parts.
Membership costs £21 per year, and they can be contacted on or 0870 879 4406.
If you wish to have a chat with me personally, please email me on
Hope this helps!
