  2. i think that is a good deal because i got my BMW 97 328i for 12,000 and i love it. Just its a forign car so if any problems start then u are screwed. its hard to find a mechanic that does forign cars. even if there are a whole bunch of new things on it a problem still could occur.

  3. Yea man buy it, it’s a good deal.

But be ready for high cost of ownership, unless you can do some prevenitive maintenance yourself. I have a 96 and it’s been an awesome car, but even oil changes are high at shops. If you can do the work on it yourself they are great cars though. I love mine but if you ever need to take it to a shop it’s going to cost you.

  4. Just get a carfax report and see if the title is good and everything. Then take it to your local mecanic, if the owner doesn’t have a problem with it. Other than that, it sounds like a good deal and by the looks of the replacement parts, it sounds like its all good.

  5. Depends on why the car needed:
    2.New Thermostat and housing4/4/08
3.New Radiator (Behr), Drive Belts, Fan Blade 4/4/08
4.New Water pump with metal impeller 3/22/08

These are weak point in these cars and if car require these service because cooling system failuare, that usually means you have blown head gasket. However, if seller is BMW specialist like myself, and replace the above parts just to prevent future problems, the car should be a good buy.

I would least get an engine compression test to verify that the car does not have blown head gasket.
